How Much Is MY FENCE going to cost? 💸

Estimate Your Fence Price in 30 Seconds

1. Measure Total Footage

The Easiest Way Is Google Earth or The Property Appraiser Website!

2. Calculate Corners, Ends & Gates

Anywhere The Fence Turns Needs A Corner & Ends Needs A Brace.

3. Grab A Calculator

Times The Footage by 5

Each Corner is $350

Each End is $200

EXAMPLE MATH

A 500ft fence in a L-Shape would have 1 corner and 2 ends.

500 x 5 = $2,500

1 Corner = $350

2 Ends = $400

Total Project Cost = $3,250

Your Thinking "That's $6.50/ft", and your right,

but because we don't know your property layout

we can't guess how many corners or bracings will be there,

So we can't add that into the per ft price.

REMEMBER! The Straighter The Run The Cheaper The Fence!

Corners and bracing cost a TON MORE in Materials & Labor,

but we can minimize them with Fence Line Planning!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the $5 per foot price really legitimate?

Yes. Our standard farm fence starts at $5 per linear foot. Corners, end braces, and gates are priced separately because every property requires a different number of them. There are no hidden fees or bait-and-switch pricing.

What’s the catch?

There isn’t one.

We’ve built our business around one proven farm fence system instead of offering dozens of different fence styles. By specializing, using purpose-built equipment, and keeping our process efficient, we’re able to offer straightforward pricing without sacrificing quality.

Why is your price lower than some other contractors?

We’re not using cheaper materials—we’re using a more efficient process.

We specialize in one style of farm fence, purchase materials in volume, use specialized equipment, and follow a standardized installation process. That allows us to complete projects efficiently while maintaining consistent quality.

What exactly is included in the $5 per foot?

Your standard installation includes:

47” Red Brand woven field fence

5-6in Pressure-treated round wood posts

Approximately 20-foot post spacing

Driven line posts

Staples and installation labor

Corners, end braces, gates, and fence removal are priced separately.

Can this fence qualify for USDA cost-share programs?

Yes. In many cases, it can.

If your project is being completed through a USDA or conservation cost-share program, we can make the necessary adjustments to meet the required specifications. Let us know during the quoting process if you’re applying for a USDA program so we can build your fence accordingly.

What animals is this fence designed for?

Our standard 47” woven field fence is commonly used for:

- Cattle

- Horses

- Sheep

- Goats

- Hogs

- Dogs

- Other large livestock

The graduated spacing helps keep smaller animals contained near the bottom while still providing strength for larger livestock. Some animals with specialized containment needs may require a different fence style, which we can discuss during your estimate

What is field fence?

Field fence is a woven wire livestock fence designed for farms, ranches, and acreage.

Unlike welded wire, the wires are joined with steel knots that allow the fence to flex under pressure instead of breaking. The openings are smaller near the bottom and gradually become larger toward the top.

This graduated spacing helps contain smaller animals while using less material higher up the fence. Red Brand offers multiple spacing patterns depending on the fence model.

How much does fence removal cost?

Existing fence removal is available for $1 per linear foot.

If you have old fencing that needs to be removed before installation, we’ll include it as a separate line item on your quote.

Do I need to know the exact footage?

No. A rough estimate is perfectly fine.

If you aren’t sure, we’ll help determine the footage before preparing your final quote.

Are corners, ends, and gates included?

No.

Corners, end braces, and gates are priced separately because every property requires a different layout. This keeps the per-foot price simple and ensures you only pay for what your project needs.

Can you install on hills or uneven ground?

Yes, but it will require extra bracing.

Every property is different, and we regularly install fencing on uneven terrain while maintaining proper fence tension and appearance.

Can I supply my own materials?

Yes. You’re welcome to supply your own materials if you prefer.

To ensure the finished fence meets our installation standards, all customer-supplied materials must meet our minimum quality requirements. If you’re planning to provide materials, let us know before your quote so we can verify they’re compatible with our installation process.

Can I change the fence materials or specifications?

Yes. In most cases, we can customize your fence to better fit your property or specific needs.

Whether you need different post spacing, taller fence, USDA specifications, additional bracing, or other modifications, we’re happy to discuss your options. We do not substitute lower-quality materials to reduce cost, but if you’d like to upgrade or change materials, you’ll typically only pay the difference in material cost—not additional labor.

Do we offer financing?

Yes.

Financing options are available for qualified customers. (600 Credit Score or Higher)

$5/foot is based on standard installation on clear, accessible terrain. Additional charges may apply for existing fence removal, added labor for roots, rocks, or uneven ground, and any site conditions that require extra work.
